How I Built This Site in 24 Hours (Without Losing the Human Touch)
Most people think using AI to build a business is about hitting a "Generate" button and walking away.
But if you’ve ever tried that, you know the result: a generic, robotic website that sounds like a manual for a microwave. As a founder who has spent years in videography and digital marketing, I knew I couldn't settle for "average."
I needed a digital home for ridwanshah.com that felt like me—intentional, human, and professional.
The Strategy: Starting with the "Why"
Before touching any code, I went back to basics. I applied the Marketing Made Simple framework because, as founders, we often overcomplicate our own stories. I wanted to move away from being just a "software developer" or a "videographer."
Instead, I positioned myself as a Creative Technologist. I bridge the gap between human instinct and machine execution.
The Design: Editorial Tech
I wanted a "journal" feel—inspired by the clean, academic aesthetics of sites like Anthropic.
- The Palette: A warm off-white (#F0EFEA) to keep it feeling human, paired with a calm Slate Blue (#4A6B82).
- The Typography: Using Newsreader for headings gave it that authority, while Inter kept the body text clean for you to read.
The Build: The AI-First Workflow
I didn't just "use" AI; I architected a system. I used Google Stitch for the UI design and Google Antigravity to generate a clean, production-ready React and Tailwind stack.
The Meta-moment? I used the very tools I advocate for to build the platform I use to advocate for them. It’s living proof that when you combine deep Prompt Engineering with a founder's vision, you can build premium systems at lightning speed.
